I live in Kennesaw, Georgia with my husband, Dwight, our Senegal Parrot (Kingsley), and cat (Mr. Panther to you). Dwight and I met swing dancing and haven't stopped since, as you can see above. (If you're interested in learning Lindy Hop, we're now teaching beginning classes in Kennesaw every Thursday at 7:30PM -- you can sign up online at http://www.kennesaw.ga.us/index.asp)

We got married in December 2002. (Yes, of course there was swing dancing at the reception!)

Kingsley is the newest member of our family. She was born June 2005 and has already learned to speak and act like a clown. She says "Bear" (my nickname for Dwight), "Hey Kings," "What 'cha doin'?" and "Come Here!" Oh and she also makes fun of my laughter, Dwight's sneezes, and our house alarm buttons. She's the coolest.

Dwight adopted Mr. Panther as a stray. At that time he was small enough to fit into the palm of Dwight's hand. His real name is Ian, but one night I decided he fancied himself a panther, so that became his "street name." (He's putting on his best panther pose here.) Mr. Panther is very shy but incredibly sweet and often quite goofy. On the occasion that someone comes to our house, he hides under our bed covers (yes, when the bed is made) and truly believes if he can't see you, then you're oblivious to him.
